We took on DCS Voice & Vision as we had a problem with our telephone system and the way the work was carried out so well, we arranged to have our maintenance contract with them. As a new start-up business I initially approached DCS a few months before we were due to commence trading in the summer of 2014. Steve Lonsdale invited me to a meeting and I outlined our business plans, following which he provided a detailed proposal for our main telephone system.
Whilst our business was initially starting "small" the proposed Mitel system would accomodate our needs for years to come - but importantly was still priced sensibly enough for us to consider, even at that early stage.
Thankfully we took this option and commenced trading with DCS and they have now helped us expand our business from a one-man office to a three depot operation.
DCS are always willing to take time to understand both our current and future issues and requirements and provide us with invaluable expertise, advice and guidance on the different solutions available. For example, we had poor broadband connectivity at our head office near Dunstable and after looking at different options with DCS they arranged a leased-line (dedicated fibre broadband line) for us. This also enabled us to switch our phones to VoIP, saving on ISDN line rental and line installation costs. Thankfully, due to Steve's initial foresight, our original Mitel phone system was already able to handle this change, so no hardware upgrades were necessary.
By recommending the right short and long term solutions for OUR business, and not for their own short-term gain or sales targets, their integrity shines through and is just what we look for in a key supplier. The systems and services provided are then backed up by a quick, responsive and personal support team who jump on problems as soon as they are reported and are always happy to help with tweaks to system configuration.
